Job Summary
We are seeking highly motivated research assistants to join our research team for an exciting project investigating the effects of air pollution exposure on cognitive function throughout middle and older adulthood. This position offers unique opportunities to gain experience in aging and environmental health research, work as part of a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to a study with significant implications for promoting the health and well-being of vulnerable populations. This project is a collaborative effort between the College of Social Work and the Department of Epidemiology and Environmental Health.
Project Overview:
This research project aims to (1) understand the long-term effects of exposure to diverse air pollutants on cognitive function decline, (2) explore underlying mechanisms, and (3) identify populations particularly vulnerable to the impacts of air pollution exposure by analyzing environmental data linked with individual-level sociodemographic and health information.
