Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support of SSEE FoS Components

  • Recommend approaches to maintain maximum systems availability, expert experience and expertise in operations of SSEE systems.

  • Diagnose and repair IO and SSEE FoS subsystem level components as well as Spectral and MMs expeditiously so they can be immediately turned around for fleet use and/or stock.

  • Diagnose failed units down to component level and effect repairs. Subsystems, Units and Components may include Receivers, Block Down Convertors, Antenna Interface Units (AIU's), Radio Frequency Distribution (RFD) Units/Modules, RF Amplifiers, Versa Module Europa (VME) Chassis, VME Modules, Virtual Path Cross-Connect (VPX) Modules, Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS), Ruggedized PC's (workstations), Keyboard/Monitor Assemblies and Cable Assemblies (including Keyboard, Video, Monitor (KVM), Radio Frequency (RF), Power, antenna apertures/pedestals and Network.

  • Work closely with the various Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) for technical support and shall arrange to expedite unit/component repairs through the MM process if they cannot be repaired locally in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Make recommendation for parts replacement if components cannot be repaired. Contractors shall obtain procedures and software needed to calibrate and/or configure units upon repair. Additionally, the contractor shall staff an IO and SSEE FoS production and kitting facility to fabricate systems-related cables and chassis and integrate the various back-fit and Engineering Change (EC) kits for SSEE FoS.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Systems, or related field is preferred

  • At least four (4+) years of experience in System Administration and preventive and corrective maintenance of SSEE systems (SSEE INC E, F).

  • Must have an active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance

  • Ability to provide onsite and remote assistance as requested to remote Learning Sites with Troubleshooting of hardware/software faults to SSEE Devices.

  • Familiar with design, theory of operation, and maintenance of SIGINT/IO Systems.

  • Experience with Lighthouse Technology development and architecture and framework and how Lighthouse Technology is integrated; signal analysis and verification testing with a focused emphasis on Signal Definition File (SDF) development and verification.

  • Expert knowledge and recent/relevant experience working with national agencies; this includes experience with the incorporation of Lighthouse Technology.

  • Expert knowledge of differences in processing Signals of Interest (SOI) with in SSEE system.

  • Experience with system administration of hybrid networks utilizing varied software loads as RHEL, SOLARIS, Windows Server, VmWare, CENT OS, Windows 7, Windows 10.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Pursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens.

  • Prolonged use of computer (typing/keyboarding).
