The Research Scientist utilizes their skills and talents in the support of the industries served by Kurita America.
This includes the development of new or improved products and technologies in line with the company’s
strategic goals. The Research Scientist will also provide high level and in-depth support to Kurita America’s sales
force for existing products and applications.

Title: Research Scientist

Location: Brooklyn Park, MN

Salary- $70-80K/yr



Responsibilities

  • Develop data to support new products and integrated solutions in line with company directives.
  • Where appropriate, protect IP through patentsubmissions.
  • Publish and present to industry publications and trade conferences to promote Kurita America as a key
    industry innovator
  • Guide and mentor Research Technicians to maintain project trajectories and goals.
  • Provide advanced field and support to oursales and technical teams.
  • Create new and improve test and processsimulation technologies.
  • Performance of other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • MS or PhD a plus. BS in the sciences with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in an R&D/product
    development role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to conduct scientific research using standard scientific principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to publish/presentscientific research.
  • Have a strong curiosity for the most difficult to solve issues.
