As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we are seeking a talented Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team and play a key role in supporting our Research & Development and General & Administrative functions. This role will involve collaborating closely with department heads to develop and manage budgets, analyze financial performance, and provide strategic insights to drive decision-making.

You'll get to:

  • Work closely with R&D and G&A departments to develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
  • Monitor budget performance and perform variance analysis, identifying areas of risk and recommending corrective actions as needed
  • Prepare and present financial results and key performance indicators to department heads and senior management
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and decision-making processes
  • Evaluate operating and capital expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities and create advanced ad hoc models to support the business
  • Work closely with Accounting to assist in monthly close process including providing information related to accruals
  • Take ownership of assigned projects and initiatives, working independently to gather data, analyze findings and develop actionable recommendations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategic plans and initiatives, providing financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes

What you'll need:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a corporate finance or FP&A role
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis using Excel; experience with financial planning software (e.g. Adaptive, Hyperion) is a plus
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting and analysis
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying solutions
  • Strong understanding of Finance principles, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and GAAP
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Salary is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is also eligible for an incentive compensation plan. The expected hiring salary for this position is:

$107,000.00 - $135,000.00
