Semmes Murphey Clinic's mission is to deliver the best care for people suffering from neurological illnesses while advancing the field of neuroscience.


The Call Center Representative will answer all calls coming into the Clinic on the main line and is responsible for accurately documenting the calls from patients, physicians, and others into the correct electronic medical record, and routing messages to the appropriate staff members.


The typical hours for this position is Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm.


The Call Center Representative pay range is between $15/hr-$20/hr. Specific offer amounts are based on relevant work experience.

Requirements:

We are searching for a candidate who:

  • is able to communicate effectively, both oral and written, with excellent listening skills and the ability to speak clearly
  • has good time management with the ability to manage workflow and prioritize demands
  • has excellent interpersonal skills and can manage difficult or emotional patient situations
  • will provide excellent customer service while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and discretion

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and strong customer service experience/focus. Experience in the healthcare field and heavy telephone usage are preferred, and bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Internet software, electronic medical records and practice management software. Organizational skills with attention to detail is required.
