TIPPER TIE is part of the FoodTech segment of JBT Corporation. We are a worldwide supplier of processing and clip packaging machines with headquarters located in Apex, NC. Our product range includes a complete line of Clippers from Tabletop models to fully automated, high-speed systems that seal, clip, net, bag and hang a wide variety of products. We have a long history in the food processing industry – especially meat and poultry. Outside of the food industry, we are a trusted partner to manufacturers of packaged explosives, adhesives, sealants, and other industrial products.

At JBT, we are relentless in our pursuit of developing new and innovative solutions for the food processing industry.

Our organization is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) in Apex, NC to support our Customer Service Team. The CSR is responsible for responding to internal and external customer inquiries for part numbers, pricing, and availability upon request. This role will also enter International and Domestic Customer orders into an ERP system and processes necessary documents.



Responsibilities

  • Enter Orders and request for Quotes into ERP system.
  • Respond to internal and external Customer inquiries.
  • Ensure all Customers have accurate and timely information on order status and/or changes.
  • Manage a broad range of customer inquiries via multiple channels in a timely, professional manner.
  • Provide product, pricing, and service information to Customers.
  • Resolve a broad spectrum of Customer complaints and issues with empathy and understanding.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to provide accurate and timely information to Customers.
  • Issues Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) as requested.
  • Processes credit card payments.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a Customer Service capacity and manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum of a High school degree
  • Familiar with Salesforce Email to Case.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft software including, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Effectively prioritize and multitask while being detail-oriented and organized.
  • Demonstrate empathy and patience when dealing with Customers.
  • Used to fast paced Customer Service environment.
  • Have a flexible “can-do” attitude and be willing to tackle a wide variety of tasks.
  • Be comfortable making decisions and resolving issues.
  • Proven team player with a strong team work ethic.
  • Superior capacity for understanding new ideas and concepts quickly.
  • Majority of time spent in a cubicle desk setting within an open-office environment.
  • Hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
  • Candidates must be able to work on-site in our Apex, NC facility.
