General Summary:

The Intern l (Human Resources) is responsible for providing administrative support for

all employment activities, including correspondence, data entry, receptionist, records

retention, and filing.

Hourly Pay: $18.50 Per Hour

Internship Objectives and Goals:

• To gain exposure to various facets of human resources.
• To learn and apply the principles and practices of Human Resource Management.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required, including word processing for forms and

business letters, Excel Spreadsheets, PowerPoint, and Calendar.

• Familiar with the use of standard office equipment, e.g. telephones with

multiple lines, copiers, and fax machines.

• Demonstrates sensitivity and responsiveness to the needs and priorities of candidates and

employees. Identifies and takes appropriate action in solving those needs.

• Demonstrates business integrity, openness of mind, caring and respect for candidates and

employees.

• Must possess acceptable oral and written communication skills.

Requirement:

• Students entering freshman or sophomore year in a business-related field.
