Position: Configuration Technician

Location: Logan, UT (on-site position)

About the Role: The Configuration Technician is responsible for designing and maintaining optimum Bill of Material (BOM) structures and top-level assembly configurations for electronic components and assemblies. These responsibilities include new part creation, outsourcing process definition, process/product document control, and configuration maintenance, including evaluation of proposed changes to the established configurations. What a typical day looks like:

• Verifies the accuracy of customer documentation
• Converts customer information to Spartronics document format
• Verifies the accuracy of information entered and archives data
• Verifies and processes documentation for engineering change orders (ECO)
• Establishes and maintains product configuration structures

The experience we're looking for to add to the team:

Education

• Associate degree in technical degree (preferred)
• 1 – 3 years related work experience (preferred)

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Advanced level of attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Working knowledge of standard electrical components.
• Moderate level computer skills, including MS Office, with a high skill level required in Excel.
• Read and interpret schematics and datasheets (preferred)
• Experience with ARENA (preferred)
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance
