TheBusiness Development Representative Role

TheBusiness DevelopmentRepresentative is assigned accounts identified by Qlik as commercial accounts in a territory either current customers or as target customers, with the highest potential future value in the market. The role is part of an account team, with the primary responsibility of generating a pipeline through leads and opportunities within the accounts.

What makes this role interesting?

  • Outbound identification/development and inbound follow-up on of landand expand opportunities within assigned accounts
  • Assigned to multiple sellers to support their accounts
  • May be dedicated to a subset of accounts (e.g., Fed, Sled, OEM)
  • Partner with the sales team to create relationships with existingcustomers, identifying their potential needs and assist in developing abusiness case
  • Move solid leads through the funnel, connecting them to a salesperson,and arranging in-person meetings, emails, or phone calls
  • Maintain a pipeline of early-stage leads

Heres how youll be making an impact:

  • Maintain activities and related data in CRM system (Salesforce)
  • Perform regular follow-up calls or emails and facilitate communicationwith existing customers to ensure their satisfaction and identify newpotential needs.
  • Attend (where necessary) networking events, trade shows, webinars etc.to build relationships and generate leads
  • Achieve goals by qualifying leads and identifying needs that can beaddressed by Qlik products; passes lead to appropriate sales resources
  • Incorporate feedback from the Demand Center leaders and sales teamto review and revise qualification criteria over time

Were looking for a teammate with:

  • 1 3yearsexperiencein businessdevelopment, sales or related field experience
  • Bachelors degree
  • Experience researching, account planning, andprospecting into a list of accounts
  • Proven track record of achieving sales metricsand consistent achievement of year-over-yearquota attainment

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $ 47,754.00 USD MIN 52,500.00 USD MAX per year. This position is eligible for a commission within a range of $ 20,466.00 USDMIN- 22,500.00 USD MAX subject to meeting targets set forth in a sales compensation plan Final compensation offered by Qlik will be based on factors such as the candidates location, job-related skills, education, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
