Overview

Manager, IT Infrastructure Objective

To develop, lead, and monitor the Infrastructure environment and team to ensure exceptional customer service and stable environments meet or exceed expectations. To plan, organize, and direct the activities of the technical infrastructure support team within the Information Technology (IT) Division. To ensure that service standards and performance related to technologies are satisfied. To communicate and deliver sound technology strategies that align with business success. To maintain the IT Infrastructure strategies by managing staff, researching, and implementing technological strategic solutions. To provide guidance and share knowledge on technical concepts and emerging technologies. To lead a team of staff, vendors, and/or consultants to ensure technology-based solutions meet current and emerging business needs.



Responsibilities

Manager, IT Infrastructure Responsibilities

Provide systems support and service, business applications, data-based solutions, project delivery, and strategic planning services to satisfy requirements for all divisions of the Insurance Companies and affiliated companies as requested.

Make recommendations related to the technology vision and IT management of the organization.

Maintain staffing levels necessary for accomplishment of corporate objectives.



Qualifications

Manager, IT Infrastructure Qualifications

Required

Bachelor's degree in business administration or computer science required, or equivalent experience may be considered.

Minimum one to three years management experience required.

Current knowledge of information technology concepts, techniques and processes required.

Familiarity with the relationship between hardware, software, networks, security and general business processes required.

Maintain constructive business relationships.

Preferred:

General knowledge of insurance company operations preferred.
