• The Supplier Quality Engineer drives customer satisfaction and continual improvement in accomplishing ESAs strategic plan through monitoring, managing and resolving issues related to Supplier quality performance.
• This position must be proficient in developing Supplier relationships, improving Suppliers capabilities, capacities, products, processes and procedures, coaching Supplier improvements, leading the disposition of Supplier rejections, documenting Supplier audits/visits and coordinating Supplier corrective actions.
• In addition, this position must develop and analyze supplier performance through the incoming inspection, first article and auditing processes.

Required:

• Bachelors degree in technical or engineering discipline
• 3 years of supplier development experience
• Must be willing to travel up to 35% (monthly)

 Preferred Skills:

• (Lean) Six Sigma Green Belt
• Ability to read Blue Prints, Engineering Drawings, Schematics
• Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication
• Problem solving, analytical, and process improvement skills / experience
• J-STD 001, IPC-600, IPC-610, IPC-620
• Electronic Assembly manufacturing to include Printed Circuit Boards
• Cable and Harness manufacturing
• Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Metallurgy
• Inspection Equipment
• Castings and Forgings
• Plating and Coating
• ASQ CQE, CQA, or equivalent
