Position Summary
The NNP functions collaboratively with the supervising Neonatologists to coordinate the patient care needs of the high-risk newborn population at Children's Minnestoa. The NNP collaboratively manages the critically ill infant's cares using expertise and evaluative tools to address the overall medical management of the infants.

Our neonatal services program provides tertiary and quaternary care through our Levels IV, III, II and step-down care units with a combined bed capacity of 171 between our Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses.

License/Certification requirements: Current MN RN License, Current MN APRN License, Current BLS Certification, Current NRP. Completed advanced training program and is certified by NCC as a neonatal nurse practitioner. 2 years level III NNP experience preferred. 500 Clinical Hours within last three years.

Physician Assistant: MN Physician Assistant License. National Certification required by NCCPA. Current BLS certification. 2 years level III NICU experience strongly preferred

Ability to work well both independently and as a team member. Uphold best practices in all practice environments. Flexibility.
