How would you like to work in Roadway Construction and Surveys? At MnDOT we will provide you with a lot of variety. Our work is interesting. The responsibilities for each area include, but are not limited to:

· Roadway Construction Inspection: provide support to contract administration and field inspection personnel.

· Surveys: provide assistance in performing field survey responsibilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Twelve months of experience performing activities in either Surveys (e.g., land, location, and construction surveys, etc.), or Construction (roadway, bridge construction, residential or commercial instruction) or related activities.
  
  OR
  
• A two year Civil or Construction Technology Degree or the following four year degrees: Architectural, Civil or Mechanical Engineering; Land Surveying / Geomatics; or equivalent
  
  

• A valid Class D Driver's License with no major traffic convictions in the past 5 years; OR 4 or more minor violations in the last 3 years; OR any combination of minor violations and at-fault accidents totaling 4 or more occurrences.
