Why Lytx:

As a QA Team Leader, you’ll work with industry-leading Fleet Tracking Software, which manages massive amounts of video and data collected from over 600,000 vehicles worldwide. At Lytx, you’ll work to ensure the quality of a cutting-edge technology that improves safety and helps save lives on our roadways.

You will be responsible for leading a team based in India comprising both manual and automation engineers who are part of agile scrum teams. Your role will involve ensuring that our products meet the highest quality and exceed customer expectations.

This includes validating cloud releases, developing automation ,collaborating closely with product and R&D teams, managing validation activities, and handling customer issues.

You’ll Get To:

• Build and lead a strong QA team capable of delivering the highest quality product on time.
  • Responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring quality-related activities in various stages of the R&D process.
  • Responsible for validating new Lytx indirect products and its features including summarizing the results and sending reports
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of test plans, test cases, defect reports, and other relevant metrics for future reference.
  • Collaborate closely with software and product teams on test plan reviews, bugs investigations and product requirements issues.
  • Deep dive into feature requirements and designs, implement efficient quality methodologies to ensure QA standards.
• Analyze, debug and investigate customer issues
• Responsible for bugs/issues reproduction and investigation
• Work and collaborate as an integral part of a worldwide QA team based in India, US and Israel
• You will manage automation engineers that develop cloud as well as device automation testing
• Develop, maintain, communicate, and present quality status, KPI and metrics.
• Help with hands-on tasks according to team capacity and priorities.

What You’ll Need:

• 5+ years of experience in managing QA teams (manual and automation)
• BSc in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Prior experience managing a team of at least 5-7 individuals.
• Experience with QA processes and methodologies, with a proven track record of implementing them effectively and creating high impact on the organization quality.
• In-depth knowledge of the software development lifecycle and release management process in scrum
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Experience in testing APIs and web applications (UI testing)
• Experience in Typescript, Pyton or any other scripting language
• Experience in Playwright , Pytest or any other testing framework
• Excellent analytical abilities coupled with thorough attention to detail
• Agile software development experience.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud architecture – big advantage
• Experience with device testing – nice to have
• Good knowledge of object-oriented design practices and patterns – Nice to have
• Familiarity with Bitbucket , Git , JIRA, Jenkins and postman
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
