This posting may be used to fill multiple vacancies at the Anoka Metro Regional Treatment Center A Behavior Program Assistant (BPA) assist with the coordination of unit programming, as well as facilitate skill building, educational, and peer support groups for individuals with serious and persistent mental illness. BPAs serve as active members of the treatment team and assist in the development of individual treatment plan goals, objectives, and interventions. They also assist unit staff of varying levels of expertise in implementing and sustaining Evidence Based Practices that are focused on client engagement, behavior management, and group programming. These include, but are not limited to: Person Centeredness, Integrated Dual Disorders Treatment (IDDT) and Illness Management and Recovery (IM&R). In addition, individuals in this role perform various direct care duties as assigned.
