Job Summary Candidates may be eligible for hiring bonus up to $2,500! **This is a part time role. Approximately 20 hours/week** The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) is seeking qualified and enthusiastic individuals to join our Forensic Services within the Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) division of agency. The Forensics Services campus in St. Peter is comprised of the Forensic Mental Health Program and the Forensic Nursing Home. Forensics Services provides mental health evaluation and treatment services to individuals diagnosed with a mental illness who present a risk to public safety. This is a safe and secure treatment environment. The Speech Pathology Clinician is responsible for all aspects of speech pathology service delivery for patients residing within Forensic Services. Speech, language, hearing, and dysphagia services are provided as part of comprehensive and multi-disciplinary treatment to patients. The purpose is to identify, assess, diagnose, prevent, and treat speech, voice, language, hearing, and cognitive and social aspects of communication and swallowing disorders. The incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. Perform duties as assigned.
